
Sats is a Destination Management Company Providing Tour Operation Services. Our owner-managed office in East Africa was started with the aim of providing the best tours and safaris taking into consideration quality and price.
ITINERARIES AND PRICES
Backed by many years of work experience, our staff are well conversant in arranging Individual, Family, Incentives and group Tours, and know how to plan the best and most dramatic itineraries. We believe sincerely in providing a great product at a good price. Our prices are very competitive when all our services are taken into account.
TRANSPORTATION
On safari, we guarantee each client a window seat. Each custom built minivans or 4 x 4 cruisers have a mobile radio, cool box, reference books, binoculars and First Aid Kit. Our cost of transport includes the services of a driver-Guide.
GUIDES
The single most important aspect of travelling through any country is the quality of the guides. Their knowledge, experience and companionship can make any trip truly magical and incredibly enriching. Our guides fall into two categories. Driver-guides and Professional Safari Guides. Every tour has a driver-guide who meets the client at the airport, and is with them for the rest of the tour arrangements. Each driver-guide has been taught not only safe driving but also the geography, history and tribal laws of the land.
PERSONAL SERVICES
Clients are met at the airport by our representative and similarly seen off on departure. At the Hotel, a knowledgeable host or hostess will assist with their check-in and safari briefing. The host or hostess will be available for them whenever they are in Nairobi to help with shopping or even packing.
QUALITY CONTROL
Sats is devoted to Quality Control and to ensure that all services are kept at the highest possible standards. These include driver-guides, professional safari guides, vehicles and representatives.
CONSERVATION
Sats is concerned about the continuing pressures eroding the fragile wildlife ecosystems in Africa, and in this regard, we fully support goals and efforts of recognised conservation institutions.
PRICES
All prices are based on costs prevailing at the time of publication of the price list .These can change without notice . However , once a holiday has been paid for we will guarantee the price , unless Government action or other influence beyond the control of Sats subsequently affects it .
RESERVATIONS
A deposit of a minimum of 30 per cent of the tour costs is required on booking and the balance not later than 25 days before the tour begins. Not withstanding any prior confirmation arrangements, the right is reserved not to execute tours if any payment has not been received in accordance with the foregoing.
CANCELLATIONS
In the event of cancellation, notice of which must be given in writing, the deposit may be refunded minus the charges for reservations that have been processed, cancellation fees imposed by hotels/lodges and transporters and any other relevant expenses. If a cancellation is received within 25 days of commencement of tour, a cancellation fee of 50 percent of the total land arrangements will be charged and a charge of 100 per cent if cancellation is made within 7 days of commencement.
RATES
Rates include all expenses inconnection with vehicle and driver for the itinerary as set out; hotel accommodation with full board table d'hote meals whilst on safari. Arrangements are on a full board basis while on safari, unless otherwise stated.
All government hotel taxes, hotel services charges and game drives as applicable to the itinerary, all entry fees except where these are specifically quoted separately in the price list are included.
Not included are any departure taxes, visas, gratuities (other than services charges) beverages, laundry and other such personal expenses.
ACCOMODATION
Wherever possible, we book rooms throughout on the basis of two persons sharing double room. Single rooms or rooms with private bathes cannot be guaranteed. When this occurs, an appropriate refund will be made direct to the client. Hotels, Lodges and camps where mentioned are named as an indication of category and room may be reserved at similar hotels, lodges or camps.
TRANSPORTATION
Safari minibuses or four-wheel drive vehicles will be provided, according to the root and the number of participants. The right is reserved to employ the services of sub-contractors. English or other language-speaking driver-guides are provided.
ALTERATION TO TOURS
The right is reserved to change any routs or arrangement should conditions necessitate to offer substitute or equal value or to cancel the operation of any scheduled tour at any time, in which event an equitable amount will be refunded.

And its agents act only as the agent of the passenger in all matters relating to accommodation, meals, tours and transportation of any type, and shall not be liable for inconvenience, omission of service, injury, delay, loss or damage from any cause and any manner whatsoever, including weather, machinery breakdown, labour disputes, civic disturbances and government orders. S.A.T.S is insured against legal liabilities arising from injuries which may be incurred by passengers in its own vehicles, subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Madagascar.
